| Curriculum Choices |
| Option A |
This choice allows parents to design and choose a curriculum program that best fits their child’s learning style, their budget and their values and beliefs. Parents are required to participate in an interview process, and submit a curriculum course outline and plan. Parents must choose materials that meets or exceed state requirements. At the high school level, all curriculum choices must be approved by our curriculum director to receive credit. Course codes must be assigned in order to receive accredited transcripts. Copies of all tests, essays, and special projects are required. |

| Option B |
Complete, customized correspondence curriculum packages, with individualized course plan and journal are provided for each student. Everything families need to begin the educational process is included in our BOX of BOOKS sets. Families requesting Option B must complete an interview questionnaire, and a student diagnostic assessment test and evaluation is required BEFORE curriculum sets are processed. Books In a Box recognizes God's truth, to be the foundation of all wisdom and education. Our focus is on phonics, reading/comprehension, and critical thinking. Simply put: we encourage all learning through reading and reasoning. We believe that the most important aspect in a child’s educational plan is reading. We custom design each series to meet the individual needs of children. We acknowledge that there is no such thing as a “one size fits all” when it comes to curriculum. Our method of learning focuses on the old fashioned Three “R’s” of Learning, or the core subjects – reading, writing, and arithmetic. Students are free to explore and learn the subjects of science, health, art, music and history in a more creative, classical approach to learning. Classical literature, educational resource books, hands on experiments, DVD’s, videos, CD’s, the internet: the world of knowledge is available to us - far beyond the traditional textbook! We have selected a variety of well known and proven curriculum vendors to provide academic excellence.

Courses can be taken for FREE, through Florida Virtual School, or Virtual Virginia School. The courses utilize course management software to maximize the interactivity of each class. Teachers will be available for telephone conversations with students throughout the school day. Students who meet the prerequisites may enroll through their schools. The deadline for registering students is the end of the first week in August. Please note there are many pre-requisites (summer preparations) that must be met before taking many of the AP courses. (All AP courses must be approved by the Curriculum Director). |

| Online Dual Enrollment College Courses |
Christian Educators encourages Juniors and Seniors take Dual Enrollment courses through local community colleges or an online college.
