With over 25 years of educational experience, the vision for Christian Educators began when the director decided to provide home education for her own son in order to meet his special needs. With her BA in Theology and Education, Deborah began tutoring and teaching students in a private school, most of whom had learning disabilities. Frustrated with the lack of adequate teaching materials, she began creating her own curriculum for students who were having difficulty learning to read. With teaching experience in both California and Florida, Deborah soon became head teacher and curriculum director over three schools. Deborah’s vision expanded to provide quality education for students and parents nationwide. With an MA in Business from UC Davis and MS in Engineering from MIT, Deborah’s husband joined her to form a company aimed at accomplishing this vision, and the ministry of Christian Educators was born.
